Mangroves

The Kanai resorts are suspended atop a protected, centuries-old, dense mangrove forest that envelops the architecture and which guests access and experience via multiple winding, beautifully-designed walkways and pathways, including short walks from guestrooms and homes to the beach.

Reef

Spanning a large area less than half a mile from Kanai's beaches—and part of the larger Mesoamerican Barrier Reef system—is a protected coral reef teeming with diverse marine life, including many species of fish, and various coral formations, providing an underwater wonderland for divers and snorkelers.
